TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is a synthetic polymer material that combines the high elasticity of rubber with the easy processability of plastic. Unlike PVC, it contains no chlorine and emits no harmful odors; unlike standard PE, it does not tear easily or become brittle in cold temperatures.
At the microstructural level, TPU consists of alternating hard and soft segments, granting it exceptional tensile strength, resilience, and crease resistance-it springs back after a gentle squeeze and retains its shape even after being bent thousands of times. Crucially, it possesses an inherently dense, microporous structure; water droplets naturally roll off the surface, and dust cannot easily embed itself in the material. Its dustproof and waterproof qualities are not merely the result of an applied coating, but are intrinsic physical properties of the material itself.
