Applications
T6 series TPU during film blowing, the bubble undergoes simultaneous stretching and orientation in both machine direction (MD) and transverse direction (TD). Its tensile strength, tear strength and elongation at break are comparable along MD and TD without obvious anisotropy. By contrast, cast film features much higher strength in machine direction, which makes it prone to transverse tearing. This grade is suitable for outdoor apparel to avoid splitting of laminated films.
